About Us

John C. Sandford, or Chuck, as most of us call him, has been in the jewellery business for over 20 years.  He studied to be a goldsmith at George Brown College in Toronto and received his Graduate Gemology certificate from the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.).  After that, he became a Certified Appraiser with the Canadian Jewellers Association (C.J.A.).  Currently he is the only Certified Appraiser between Winnipeg and the Toronto area.

Chuck is joined in the business by his wife, Christine Sandford.  Whereas, Chuck's expertise in working with the jewellery, Christine is all about keeping things organized and running smoothly.  She takes care of ordering, receiving, schedules and book keeping.

Yvonne Homer has now been with us for a year (Time flies!).  She brings with her many years of experience in sales and now after learning the basics, she has decided to become a gemologist.  Eventually we expect that she will take over at least part of the appraisal portion of our business.

Jane Komoski has recently joined us as a goldsmith.  She has many years of experience with jewellery, repair and custom design.  She looks forward to the opportunity to adapt her expertise to the new laser welder.
